i only get 2-4 per day. if i want to save them for a few days before incubating them, how do i store them? refergerator? how many days can i wait until i have to incubate them?

An embryo can start to grow at 70 degrees but can't sustain growth at that temp longer than a few days. It is best to keep eggs 45-50 degrees. You also should turn them twice a day to keep the chalice from stretching to much to one side.

shawn just store them on the counter top in an old egg carton--- helps to turn them by hand while being stored. AND ACTUALLY YOUR QUAIL HATCH WILL BE A LIL BETTER IF YOU HOLD THEM FOR 3 DAYS OR SO BEFORE YOU SET THEM IN THE 'BATOR'

Oh and they can handle 7 days with great success but they will start to decline (affecting hatch rate) after that 7 days.
