How fast should a fan/air be in a forced air incubator?

It's been very hard to hatch bobwhite in my incubator, and I'm wondering if my fan might be blowing air to fast (not right into the chicks/eggs, but the air "bounces" around and obviously ends up sucking moisture from the chicks).

I'm using a computer fan (12v), anyone know if it is to fast?
What fan does your incubator use?

How many volts are you running into the fan? You only need 6 to 9 not the full 12. I use a 6 v in one bator and a 9v in the other and my hatch rates are identical. A full 12v might be a little much in a small bator

I have been putting the full 12... maybe that's one of my problems.
I'm going to regulate it to 6volts right now.

I would just check it we several thermos. If you get hot or cold spots then go to 9 volts. Good luck!
