Some of my girls are rescues, and two years old. The rest are pullets. We have 18 total. During the extreme heat, I was getting only about 3 eggs a day. Then, last week, it was cooler, lol, down in the 90's. The pullets have all started laying, and I was getting 8 eggs a day. Now, it is up in the 100's again, and today I only got 3 eggs again. What a contrast, and the only cause is heat. I just find it amazing how much ten degrees affects them.

I know! Maybe try putting some ice and electrolytes in their water and putting a fan in the coop and giving them cold fruits. That should cool them down and give you more eggs.
