How long can eggs be stored from lay time to being put in the incubator and is there any specific way to store them?

Collect daily, store in cool place, rotate.
7 days with little problems, can go a bit more but then percentage starts to drop slowly.
I read everyday stored adds one hour to the hatch time.
So if you put one egg that was stored for 7 days with another laid that day in the incubator at the same time there would be a 7 hour difference in hatch time.

I have read that they have to be kept at 50-65 degrees and at 70 relative humidity. And that if they get over 65 degrees they will be no good. Is there any truth in this?
