How long to keep them in coop?

Thanks for the response aart. Looks like they have taken the bedding out of the nesting boxes sometime -either at night or why I am at work. The top roost is right by the main window and I am not sure they feel comfortable roosting there at night. Even tho it is wired with chicken wore. When I went out last night one or two were on it, the others were standing on the floor. See the picture here to show where the roost bar is in relation to the window. Probably not a good spot, thoughts?

Not sure the window is a problem...tho some of my birds don't seem to like to roost near a window....
....but that top roost is tooo close to the wall, needs to be at least a foot away from wall.
