I am getting 10 chicks in a couple weeks :celebrate (4 standard, 6 bantam) but I am not sure what EcoGlow brooder I should get. I know the 1200 (50) one says it holds 35 newly hatched chicks but how many 4 week old chicks? Or should I do the Brinsea EcoGlow 600 (20)? I am not sure if it will hold 10 four week old chicks though. Do y'all know what size I should get? What size do y'all get and how many chicks did y'all have? Thanks! :D

I have the 600 with 2 3-week EEs plus a 1.5 week Faverolle and a 1.5 week Ameracauna. They all fit for now. In another 2 weeks it will be wall to wall chicks. Hopefully the “bigs” will migrate out. Sometimes they get half under half out during the day or sit on a low perch in the brooder.
All four are under there in the pics. The brown one is a “big”.

Thanks for the reply! I am thinking I will get the 1200 EcoGlow so I won't have to upgrade later if they all start getting too big for the heater. Your chicks are adorable! :love
