2 quail (bobwhite(?) hen, coturnix roo)
2 roller pigeons

Most of my chickens got taken by a predator recently- I used to have 9 roos

Wow, I feel small. Currently 4 ducks 2hens 2drakes. I know I'm off on ratio. Planning to do something about it. Duck math.

So duck math....is a good drake/duck ration 4:1? I don’t care for male poultry much and wasn’t planning on getting anymore drakes (if I can help it ) I currently have 1 drake with 4 ladies. They adore him. I figure he will just be busy with 6 new duck hens soon lol.

My Runner drake had 6 females then I hatched this past summer and added 3 more females an another drake. Them boys will be busy and enjoy every minute of it.

I’ve been a chicken advocate since 2013. However, last year I got my first set of ducks; 2 fawn and white runners and 2 blue Swedish. I have come to favor duck eggs more than chicken and I have 3 people that buy their eggs from me as well. I am thinking about expanding my duck flock by getting 6 more ducklings That would put me at 10 ducks and 9 chickens. PHEW. So how many do you have in your flock?

I have 7 ducks, one drake and 6 hens. But I feel the call of the universe to get more. I also have 31 chickens after recently subtracting 10 cockerels.
