I think my egg production might be low the next few days.
Massive storm that if I didn't know better I would say I had a small rain warped tornado or strong streamline winds. Snapped that tree like a twig.
I got all but 1 hen safely in the coop right before this happened. Coops still standing but we will need to get the other up fast. The last hen is running around but will get her when she roosts tonight.
My poor dog is trapped under tree limbs but until my husband gets back with the chainsaw we can't get to her.
Update. Finally dug the dog out of that mess. She's wet, cold and scared but ok. Just gave her a bath and she's cuddled under a blanket in the bathroom right now. Still can't catch that hen. Tried to move that tree from the coop but my brother-n-law called frantic about damage at his place. Hubby took off to help.
WOW so sorry for your damages
6 eggs from 8 hens...had to clean the coop and nest house today....they should be happy with the clean Hay filled coop and run however...I sue deep bedding so 8 inches of rich compost out 10 inches of hay and lawn clippings in.
