I was concerned that putting the extra tom turkeys in three of the laying hen tractors would hurt production, but so far it doesn't seem to be.

Ok this is weird to me. For like the last few weeks my hens have been laying (most of the time) 6 eggs a day and are done with their laying normally by 1pm. But today I picked up two eggs first thing this morning and normally I get 4 on my first egg check. as of right now I picked up one egg at about 12:30 and another one a few minutes ago and both of my easter eggers are in the nest; well one has made her own nest in the house and the other is using the correct nest. So what made them change their routine?

Out of 4 girls currently laying, I got 3 eggs...so...not so bad for a snowy February day!
