How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I left two eggs in a container on the deck while I went in to "fluff up" the sandbox and add some poultry dust. Came back and had only one egg. Hmmmmmm..... Yup, one of the dogs toon the other one. Well, now I know I can't just leave them laying for even a few minutes when the dogs are out!; )

Cool, Truckguy, you should soon be getting 3-4 eggs per day which I feel is just about right for one person, and you can still give away a dozen now and then! I have yet to get a large egg but my chicks are only 22 weeks old. They get slightly bigger every week. I think my last BA laid her first egg today as it was extra-small!

3 were layed yesterday. none today for some odd reason but I'm sure it will catch up to a normal schedule soon.

We got 6 out of 8, four from the pullets....one of the older hens is molting.
