well there it is, not 14 hours right now, the solar panels output has dropped it is not charging the battery, which tested ok. Looks like its time to dig that trench and run power out there....

Oh good... I am not the only one who does that! When I get home from work I try to do everything at once: play with the dog, feed/water chickens, take egg, look after sheep, etc

The dog brings back his ball between and throughout each task, pushes his ball into me "Mom, mom, mom I brought you the ball, mom, mom, mom!!"
Reminder to self: don't put eggs in pockets... so far I seem to remember to take it out when Felix is just about to run into me.....

Bigger panels are cheaper, at least for me.
(My barn and coop would require at least 200' of conduit and wiring, plus breakers, switches, trenching...).
