How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

8 eggs yesterday (2 were large fowl )

All but one frozen and split open.

But all but two in the nests, so that was nice.

I'll have to thaw these before I can break them for the girls. Darn it.

4 eggs so far today. Got them before they were frozen.

But they were laid on the floor.

So I fed them back and the girls made quick work of them.

4/5 today. Maybe another in the nest later. Blondie was in the nest box at 11am. GC

7 here to start had minor fall lots of abrasions last night or early this morning my housemate

Yesterday, my eggs were frozen hard and split open with big cracks. And they were so clean, not a dirty spot...lol.

@Wickedchicken6 Oh not too bad thigh was the nastiest abrasion and admit is is quite bothersome
probably will be a few days I have had a few of those spotless eggs looks like they came from a store

FINALLY got a dozen again!! What a great way to start the new year...
sold 8 dozen already
Took a peeper off one of the BO this morning due to bleeding at comb/ beak area, she seems fine now and not pecking. Our barn is coming in 2 wks so no more peepers (hopefully) needed.
