I was away at the cattle sale That's what happens.

60 hens/pullets (not all pullets are laying...yet)

Possible 11 young pullet chicks, I think.
(I got an actual count!)

It doesn't matter whether it's 2 or 102. 2 for 2 is fantastic!
Especially at this time of the year.

A smaller amount of chickens doesn't mean anyone is any less of a chicken owner/breeder/keeper.

5/6 so was happy, especially as all 3 silkies laid today. They have never ALL laid on the same day so it was lovely to collect them this morning-made my day.
They were also so chuffed with themselves and were clucking even though it was pitch black when I let them out.
It's so funny during these dark mornings- I have to put a torch near their food so they can see it ha ha. Bless.
