How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I thought the girls had stopped laying in the goat dog house so I stopped even looking in there. Well, yesterday I only had 3 eggs in the coop so I looked in the goat house. I ended up with 9 eggs from 8 hens. They had stashed 6 eggs in the back of the goat house where I couldn't see them unless I belly crawled. My 20 year old son told the girls that Mama is too old to be crawling around getting ambushed by goats and to cut out the shenanigans or become chicken pie lol.

3 out of 8 hens but I have to do a coccidiosis treatment and clean the coop then treat the coop for mites again.

Today was 7 and I fully counted my hens, 10 hens 2 roosters.

4 yesterday. They seem to be alternating 2 and 4. I think 1 might be in a very gentle molt.

I happily collected three eggs, day lengths are finally long enough to kick start my old girls and pullets

Only 1 today. We had some pretty good thunderstorms come through last night, and I think my ladies were unnerved by all the thunder and wind.
