How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have had 1 a day for 3 days, my first eggs from my young pulletts.. Today I found 2 in the nest box!!! One was broken but all there so it looks like I have 2 girls laying now. I just need to figure out how to make them keep the bedding in the nest boxes so the eggs don't have such a hard surface to land on. For some reason they like to clean out the boxes and throw the straw on the floor.

yesterday I THOUGHT,8/12. BUT my BO decided she liked the bucket she had found laid her egg in it, and wouldn't move. She puffed up when we tried to get her out...so I picked up the bucket (its like a 3 gallon, its OLD) and carried it to the coop and set her down. LOL it was really funny to have a chicken in a bucket. ANYWAY two other chickens laid in there so now- 10/12! yay!

Egg production has been so up and down. One day it is around 7 then the next day it is around 13. Weird. Yesterday we had 12
