Well,cockerals can get aggressive come mating season.They break their backs doubt it.They will RIP feathers out A LOT.Maybe even spur them.They do not mean this harm its just hens run and they wanna mate they go after them bad.Sometimes hens fight back and get injured.But youngsters do not make fertile eggs at that age i'm just giving you a chance with a rooster that will know the hens better and have more respect.BUT you may get fertile eggs.
