This story is about how we got Mira. It starts like this.

a few days ago, we mysteriously lost our months old baby chinchilla/newzealand rabbit (no symptoms). We were out watching the chickens a few hours later when my mom spotted an unusual colored "wild" rabbit out in the open. She didn't look or act wild, and wasn't acting fearful. So we decided to catch her, wich wasn't hard since she wasn't afraid of us. She didn't like being picked up but quickly settled in my arms and let us pet and examine her. No injuries, or illness was evident (she is quarantined right now), so we put her in a spare hutch with food and water. She was starving, on her food in an instant. Today, she is happy, calm, and hoppy, and we named her Mira, short for miracle. It turns out that she is full chinchilla, like my baby's mother and around the same age as our poor baby. We lost one chinchilla mix, and gained another full chinchilla. Have no clue where she came from, neighbors are not close at all.
