How much are you selling your eggs for?

Hey there everyone!
So it's finally come to the point,

we have more eggs than we can eat OR give to friends!
That means SELLING TIMEE!!!
How much do you guys sell yours for per dozen? Ours are all large brown eggs, the banties aren't laying right now. I live in a pretty rural area, so I don't think I'll get a whole lot out of them. But we do have a LOT of "city people" who retire up around our area because they think it's "quaint".
I'm thinking 2 or 2.50 a dozen? Is that too low? Too high?
And what's the best way to sell them? An add in the paper, or word of mouth? Haha there's so much to know! We have a farmers market, but it doesn't open until July.
Just thought I'd get a little feedback from the most knowledgeable people around!

I would say $2.25 to $3.00 a dozen retail is a good price. It just depends upon what people are willing to pay. Don't worry about what the big grocery chains are charging, there eggs are usually of inferior quality.
