How much food do they need?

My 12 ducks are 8 weeks old now. Living outside and have free roam on the yard during the day. We are trying to narrow down how much we should be feeding them each day. I think we were over feeding them and have tried to cut back some but now I'm not sure it's enough. They are eating a mix of whole oats and starter grower feed. I'm looking for like oz per bird type of answer.. Please let me know what you think!

This isn't an answer but I was wondering at what age you gave them free roam ?

I can't give a per ounce as I just fill the bin when it is empty and they stop in and grab food when they are hungry. Everybody appears to be a decent weight. I find with ours, they really only eat what they need to.
