I am doing my first broody hatch, and this one is a team effort that started out with one broody and quickly moved up to 2. So, I now have 8 eggs under 2 broodies. They seem to move the eggs between them a fair amount, and often when I check on them, I can feel the eggs right on the edge of their bodies, like they're not all the way under them. Sometimes I can see a little bit of the eggs - maybe a centimeter's worth - and sometimes I can just feel them. Is this a problem? Also, how long can the hens be partially or completely off the eggs before it starts being a problem?
