how often do you change your incubator wafer? or do you have to?

Hello ,how often do you have to change the wafer, or do they last forever?

Only when it goes bad, you will know when it does, it will leak, therefore it can not swell & triger the switch to cut off the heat source.

If you don't have a spare already get one. Very easy to change out

thanks , i read somewhere to change it every year, so if it works dont worry about just have a spare? I will go get one this weekend thanks again

Yea always have one on hand, I keep at least 2-3 handy. I have got 1 that came in a hovabator back in the early 80s & still work fine.
