How old can you put chicks outside? Could they live outside in april when they are like 10 weeks or a little bit less without getting sick they would be in an enclosed wooden pen with an attached run.

when they are fully feathered/ nerly as this will give them all the protection they need

In most cases, the chicks can go outside when they have most of their adult feathers. Usually, this is around four weeks. They will probably be fine. Before you put them outside permanently, make sure to let them out before for a few hours for a couple days. It would be best if the temperature was above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
 
as long as it is not cold and they are a month old they can go outside as long as the other chickens can not harm them they should be fine
