How should I convert over to using chicken nipples verses a regular waterer.

Hello, Just moved my 10 week old chickens out to our new coop. While they were in the nursery their water was always so dirty. I bought some chicken nipples at our local feed store and a bucket and will do this for my next project. Wondering how you teach them to use it? On package says adult chickens only. Are they still too young for this? I would just like to try to go to a cleaner water source for them. Also will be making a feeder out of PVC pipe this weekend if anyone has any other tips for that. Thank you and as a new chick owner I appreciate this forum

Place the nipples at eye level so they can't help but peck at them.
All ages can use them.
I assume they are vertical as opposed to horizontal nipples.
Water founts can be kept cleaner by raising them so the rim is at the height of the chickens' backs using bricks or some other method.
