Long story short is our dog tested positive for hookworms (she is on treatment). Well, I looked into the yard and saw her pooping, then saw a swarm of chickens run up behind her and EAT the poop! After I got over the freak out I got worried because of the hookworms! Our flock ranges in age from 2 who are 3 and 11 that are 1. None of them have been wormed at all and now I think I better do it. What is the procedure? Do I need to do multiple treatments so it isn't a full flush and kill my birds?
