Hello! So I am new to turkeys and I currently just have 1 tom. He’s about 9 months old and I’ve seen some of his poop be runny. Considering I haven’t dewormed him yet, I thought I would do so to see if that helps the problem. I bought safeguard so it’s liquid and I’ve seen people say administer orally but when I go to put the liquid in his mouth, I can see him breathing through the hole in it and I can’t help but worry if he will aspirate. Is this the right way to administer the dewormer?? Do I just open his mouth and put it in? Please help.
