How to keep open floor coop dry?

So I have an open coop and it usually stays pretty dry but with all this rain we been getting EVERYDAY its starting to get puddles inside... Looking for some suggestions on how to help keep it dry other than the most obvious answer of putting a floor in.

Its a 8x8 coop with a tin roof and netting for walls on 4x4 post

If you add sand to the floor so the floor of the coop is higher than the surrounding land, it should stay dryer.

I'd go with sand as well.
