Hi. This will be my 2nd hatch! Yesterday I cleaned my styrofoam incubator with dishwashing soap and then I rinsed the soap out. After that, I turned my bator on to get ready to put my eggs in that I'm supposed to set tomorrow. On my last hatch, I filled tray one, and the humidity stayed perfect (30-45%) every day. Yesterday I filled tray one like last time and the humidity will not get under 55%. Now I just emptied the water tray and the humidity is at 57% I'm wondering if the styrofoam soaked up the cleaning water. I need help to lower my humidity!

Try putting it in front of a fan for a while. If that doesn't work, then what is your ambient humidity? (humidity outside the incubator)

Thanks! When I checked the humidity this morning it was 28%, so I guess I just had to wait for it to get regulated.
