They also make very good layers, I'm planning on hatching as many second generation ones as I can next year.
 
we also have a Jersey leghorn giant Jersey Giant male blue/white leghorn female I need to post some pics it is white with black spots and lays a leghorn size tinted egg and she is very friendly too
 
Here is one of my silkie/Sultan or silkie/GLpoish crosses,(I'm not sure, he has vaulted hocks) he had more poof on his head until someone plucked him....

Golda isn't laying yet she was just hatched this spring. It shouldn't be long though. I'm betting they'll be really light brown.
 
Anyone ever bred a black langshan to a white langshan? What color would you get? I have both... but not of a breeding age.

Also, anyone ever crossed a silver phoenix to a red shouldered yokohoma? I have both, not yet mature, but would like to know what that cross would look like.

What about a blrw to a slw?

A gold laced polish to a sultan? Or a buff laced polish to a sultan?

What about a silver spangled hamburg to a silver phoenix?
