My pekin girl sat on her 12 or so eggs for a few weeks but only for about half a day each day. Recently I've noticed she hasn't been sitting on them and I have been smelling a funky "rotten" smell from her coop.
I went to check if maybe it was the eggs and turns out it was.
Some eggs have a greenish look inside, (I can see from the shell) and some just smell really bad as you get near them.
I candle lit them...more like flash light lot, and half are just regular eggs while the other 6 seem to have had a .... duckling forming but didn't quite make it due to her quitting/stopping laying..
Now I don't know what to do. Should I take them all away since she doesn't lay on them at all? Or will she be sad, depressed, angry....?
