How to train to water bottles?

I have my parrots and cockatiels trained to water bottles. How do I train the quail? Will they smell the water and start drinking when they get thirsty enough, or do I need to show them or something?

I put each quail to the tip of the bottle, having made sure it had a drop of the end of it. They got it pretty quickly. I need to change to a different waterer now as it is getting too cold.

Just put it on the cage they will find it and use on their own or at least all the chicken and quail I've had have.

Great! That will be so much better than cleaning poop water out 2x a day.

They figured it out in about 15 minutes and then they all went over to try it at once, and made a big mess of water on the ground. I really did not expect them to learn that fast. It was almost like they enjoyed pecking at the bottles.
