(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New-ish! Started our chicken adventure in 2020.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Speckled Sussex / 1 Rhode Island Red / 1 Ameraucana
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love to watch them forage! They're such inquisitive, chatty little birds.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Novice gardener trying my hand at a few veggies/fruits + flowers + chicken treats this season.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My fiance and I's menagerie consists of 1 pup, 4 cats, and 4 hens. She thinks we're at max capacity, but I'm not so sure
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've frequented BYC over the last few years for various chicken Qs, but never thought to join for some reason! Better late than never, right?
