Humidity Question

I ran my incuview for a couple of weeks before adding eggs and it seemed like when I added water the humidity would shoot up and then take awhile to back off. Now with 30 quail eggs in it, it seems like the humidity drops off much quicker and I’m adding water more often. Is this due to the eggs “soaking up” the humidity or something else?

The more eggs, the more water they will use up. Is there possibly any chance there's a hole somewhere where the water vapor is leaving?
