I didn't know a hen could lay two eggs in one day!

I have one hen. I checked the nest at around 11:30am. No eggs. I checked again at 8:00 pm and there were two eggs. Is this normal?

Every once in a "blue moon" it happens.

It has happened here ONE time thus far. Oftentimes the second egg is "unfinished" or imperfect in some way, but occasionally you just get two eggs.
