If you are having trouble with them getting out ( over a fence) you have to clip their wings.
Cut the flight feathers with some sharp scissors. The one SURE way to stop more is to get rid of the rooster. The hens don't care if there is a rooster or not. THey'll keep laying. I like the feed store add idea. Around here word of mouth works pretty good. Just keep asking around.
