My chick is about 5 days old and was doing well. Last night and all day today he has been panting or gasping for air… mouth open and throat moving in and out. Entire body is pulsing… I looked it up and found brooder pneumonia… please help! He doesn’t look good… not sure what to do. Separated him from other two and cleaned everything really well.

Others will likely have different treatment options, but I used oregano oil, goldenseal root tea, and nebulized food grade peroxide and saline for mine.

Hopefully someone else will chime in as well!
