I think my duck is a mutant...

A while ago I noticed my duck seemed to have an extra toenail growing from her middle toenail. I didn't think much of it at the time. But now she seems to have grown a small toe from beneath her middle toe with a toenail (see picture). Thoughts??

Today an OEGB chick of mine hatched and it's got 7 toes on its right foot!
It was an assisted hatch because the chick was too weak to get out.
Thank God it's doing good now.
