I thought I was safe from raccoons

I have had my coop for 6 years. I was proud of the fact it was raccoon proof. Last night a raccoon showed me otherwise. One dead and one wounded. I never thought it could do this.

Oh I’m so sorry!!! One time I woke up at two in the morning and heard all my chickens Squawking in the morning found one dead three injured one of them I was unsure if it would make it they made a full recovery. What can we do to help??

Cayenne pepper mixed with garlic and water sometimes helps keeping raccoons away. I also have had success with trapping raccoons which would remove the threat I’m so sorry for your loss how bad is the injured one?? Send pics please!!!
