I thought they were Delaware but....

Now I'm not sure at all! Very dominate and larger than the other chicks. The feather coloring is throwing me off so now I don't have a clue. Any ideas?

Definitely not the right color for a Delaware. I'm not sure about breed with them being so young yet. Where did you get them?

From Atwoods and they get their chicks from Ideal.

And I just noticed that his feet are getting darker...maybe I've got a couple of EE's?

Not EEs, EE chicks are mostly chipmunk marked.

That's what I thought, but then I saw some very light colored EE chick images...

I guess time will tell.

Right now they are chubby all over, but I don't see any extra cheek chub.

I'm looking at the list of chicks from Ideal and I think possibly they are Buff Catalans...their legs become a slate blue and the chicks start out very light.

They might be New Hampshires. I found this picture in a post by Speckledhen of her NH pullet from Ideal
