i want to start breeding crele cochins but dont know where to start???

li want to start breeding crele Cochins and ik u need a barred rock and either a buff or paritdge can anybody help

You can go to the chicken calculator just google it. What has been said is you need a partridge over a cuckoo. If you do not have a cuckoo some whites may have that gene. I have white Orps and they carry the cuckoo gene in some of them but I have seen cuckoo cochins several times that are available. Do you belong to the Cochin club if not it would benefit you to join to find some foundation stock. Good luck, this is an easy project but will take a few years there will not be probably an instant crele offspring just some with potential. You will have to go back to the partridge with the cuckoo/crele want-a-bees.
