Haha, that is an awesome photo. I always get worried when a chick sitting on my shoulder gets fixated on my eyeball, it must look like a nice big juicy treat...

My 3 1/2 year old tried to lock me in the coop today. He closed the door and closed the latch. Luckily he did feel like letting me out. Although, being an a-frame run I could probably flip it over, but its heavy so it would be hard... and plus I JUST thought of that.

I bend down to collect the eggs and forgot the shiny hair tie. It's quite a feeling to have a full size Cochin jump on your back and attack your head.

Old turkey farmer told me once to never ever faint or pass out in a Turkey pen. He wasn't talking about getting your toes pecked. If you want to know what will happen throw them a chicken carcass with a little meat on it, and come back the next morning.
