identify fertile eggs?

So I'm now to chickens and have 18 with 2 cockerels. How do I know if my eggs are fertile for when I'm ready to do a hatch in spring?

Fellow upstate new yorker!!! In order to check fertility of your eggs w/o incubating them you have to crack them open. (Check a few before you have breakfast.) You look for the "bullseye" on the yolk. All yolks should have a white dot on them, but in a fertile egg that "dot becomes a bullseye. (Cell division of the blastodisc.) I'll share a couple pics to help you know what you are seeing. If you are seeing the majority of your eggs with this bullseye you know your roo is doing his job.

Hope this helps!!
