See, now, I'm a vegetarian, and this is still on my no-no list. I read about the insect protein and thought, "That's going to make it that much harder to find vegetarian foods." I may end up going vegan, tbh. Just eat fruit and vegetables. Idk. I love cheese. If it weren't for cheese....
Cheese is why I thought about milking my goats.

My nanny had other ideas.

So now I watch for good deals at the grocery.

:lau

As others have said, I'm perfectly willing to eat bugs, by proxy, after the chicken, quail and/or fish finish processing said bugs.
We all know "you are what you eat." And now they're saying, "you are what you eat eats." So, ok, I eat a bunch of Japanese Beetles in July and August. And some mealworms every now and then.

You know... disguised as eggs, JBs are really tasty!

I just mean, do you have to discard buggy chicken feed? Surely the chickens wonXt mind, won't they eat the feed, bugs and all? Or are these particular bugs bad for the chickens?
I got a bag of buggy feed once. I took it back because I felt like the bugs had consumed the good stuff from the feed so it was no longer a complete feed.

Also the bugs poop the whole time they are eating. :sick

I paid for good feed so that is what I want. :)
