one of my December 28th Quail Chickies is a Roo!!! He started Crowing today!!!

The first crow was a little............well.............. it sounded like a pubescent boy!

Each one thereafter has gotten louder and more pronounced.

I have some in the garage that are starting to crow. I can hear them since the bedroom is right above the 40 something quail chicks, the pen with 3 juvenile roosters and to top it all of an OEGB cock. I wonder how I got weasled into letting him in the garage.

When he first crowed, I thought the cat had managed to get the cage open and grab one!!!

The he did it a second time and I could tell he was just getting the kinks worked out.


He's going about every 10 minutes now.....

Lucky. I have way to many males right now (going to fix that little problem tomorrow...) and they all crow, non-stop 24/7

Very irritating stuff.

He;s seems to have settled into a random crow now.... Either that or his voice is tired.....
