Don't remember but if I did it was probably on purpose. I was raised in church from age 6 to 16 when I ran away from home.Pert, I'll bet you were the kid in Sunday school who always mispronounced "Zacchaeus" when y'all sang that song.
My mom ran away with the preacher when I was 10. Kinda soured me on the whole thing for a long time.My dad was the preacher.
If I misbehaved, he'd stop his sermon, and call me down to the front pew.
Not much of a preacher. I'm sorry that happened to you.My mom ran away with the preacher when I was 10. Kinda soured me on the whole thing for a long time.
The "in-between" kids (too big for nursery and too young / wiggly to behave on their own in church) all sat together in the choir loft at the back of the church with one of the older ladies. We called her "gramma (last name)" and she kept us in line during services.I was pretty precocious as kid I was told. Guess Ma was giving me a stink eye
from the choir.
Maybe that is why Ma sent to my Grandma for 8 years
I was not impressed with church, but my mother made me go.My mom ran away with the preacher when I was 10. Kinda soured me on the whole thing for a long time.
Was that from condensation on the porcelain,,, if from bad aimThe good Ole days. It kept your feet warm, but stayed slightly damp, especially around the bowl.
