I am a novice at incubating eggs. New to ducks and new to eggs. I just set up my Kebonnixs incubator and am ready to go.

My ducks free range on the property, and it was a few days before I could get down there because of weather. A couple of the eggs in the nest site were broken and the contents (yolk, white) are all over the outside of the other eggs retrieved. Can I put those in the incubator like that, or should I clean them in some way? Or just discard? They have been sitting in the house for a few days now.

Thanks so much.

Best to use clean eggs. Broken eggs can add a layer of bacteria onto the other eggs that can kill them, and than they rot.
