Hi, they are OK for the most part. A couple have injuries from mom stepping back into/on them part way. She needs a farrowing crate and something to hold her ears back. She has terrible vision because her ears flop over her eyes. I have never had one with them this covered. I have a shed built with sides for the babies to move out of her way, but she won't use it. She dug and built a nest with hay in the open. I am not sure how you argue with a four hundred pound sow.

Wow, I can understand not trying to argue with a 400 lb sow!!! That is huge!!

How fast do the piglets grow? In turn, how long until they can get out of mom's way?

The bigger ones are easy but the mean ones are kinda fun (not in a make them suffer for it kinda way but in an I just ended you kinda way)

And the cats love the fish here also. Especially the culled ones. Once we had a really mean salt water one. Even the cats wouldn't eat him.
