I have another broody on four wood duck eggs

lucky duck you are. So hard for me to find juvenile woodducks in my area let alone fertile eggs. And my qbert needs some friends.

they wher stinky.they died after internal pip they had the whole yolk sack still unabsorbed.i checked no breathing nothing.but we have four healthy and happy babys.yayayayyayayyayayyya

If you had left them alone they would probably ALL have hatched. You don't get it. By messing with the eggs you are killing the chicks but you just don't seem to care about that.
Sad for the chicks that should have hatched

Maybe next time you'll leave them alone and have a better hatch rate? Hope you learned  something from all of this.

Update! For the Spring HAL, I had one hatch last night and two more this morning with 6 or 7 others pipped! I had to leave for several hours though so hoping everything goes smoothly while I'm away!!

Anyone want to weigh in on this bird? Comb is very different...leg color? Thoughts??
