Incubators: Buy or Build?

I hadn't incubated in over 15 years Cyprus but I borrowed a friend's Rcom incubator. And I love it. Way easier than the Little Giant incubators I used to use. I still miss my GQF Sportsman incubator and would like to get another one, but I haven't had any luck finding one that's in decent shape and not way, way out of my price range for the condition I find them in.

What happened to your Sportsman?

I had it over 15 years ago when I was about 15. when my dad threw me out of the house he sold off and gave away all my birds and supplies.

I like to build them just because it is part of the hobby and I get a lot of satisfaction with my hatches.
I keep a few store bought ones around so I can hatch while modifying or redesigning my builds.
