Infected comb point

My Queen has a pus filled comb point today. Wasn't there yesterday. Can someone help me?

Part of me is tempted to treat it like an abcess, drain it, flush it with peroxide, and treat with neosporin/ blukote for a few days. You could also try treatment topically alone and see if it resolves without cutting it open.

I went on Amazon and order some Vetericyn Plus Poultry Care Spray. It's for abcesses, cuts, and wounds. Use it on any animal. Safe to use. Thanks for the help.

So Neosporin is the topical right?

Yes, just while the wound starts to heal.

I use Vetericyn. I'm not sure that putting a topical is going to heal that tho unless there is an open area where the spray or ointment can get inside. I would open it, drain it, flush it out with saline or chlorhexidine, then pack the hole with triple antibiotic ointment.
