Infected rooster foot

I just got a new rooster and his back toe looks infected and swollen from a pen fight injury, what over the counter medication options are there, since you can no longer get antibiotics over the counter? I cleaned it with peroxide and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. I’ll try to get a better picture of the injury in little while

The antibiotic ointment should do the job, if it's a small injury. I can't tell from the pic.

It’s a smaller injury but it looks pretty infected,the toe is swollen probably twice its normal size and black around the cut. I’ll try to get a better picture when I clean it today.
